Hi welcome to my blog, I hope you enjoy reading it as I will writing it. History is one of my favorite subjects, British Monarchs, battles, the wars between England and Scotland, I love it all. My favorite Queen of all time has to be Elizabeth I, closely followed by Mary Queen of Scots.
I start my blog with The Norman Invasion 1066, seems a good place to start and I will make my way up through the centuries. The topics I will cover range from the Battles of 1066 and other battles, Richard I and King John, Edward Longshanks, The Peasants Revolt, Richard III and the Princes in the Tower, The English Civil War, Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite cause, William of Orange, to name but a few.
